Soccer Star!!

It has been a wonderful soccer season for Sarger. He loves to play and does very well. He is the youngest kid on the team, Daddy is his coach. The team has won every game except the first one. It has been so much fun to watch him. I love the little dance that he does when he makes a goal. It's so fun being a mom.

Primary Temple Trip

What a neat activity our three younger kids got to participate in! The primary went to visit the Dallas Temple. They walked the grounds and got to go into the foyer and listen to the words of the temple president. The temple is a sacred place, a piece of heaven on earth. We are so blessed to have one close to us. They enjoyed the experience.

The Ultimate.......

I woke up to a very sweet surprise on Saturday morning. Piper and Sarger made me breakfast in bed. It was very random and for no specific reason. I loved it so much. They brought me cheerios and grapes. What a treat! Thank you sweet hearts.

"Watch Me Fly" By Paige Price Barron

This is the painting I did while I watched conference this year. I just wanted to do something fun. I almost scrapped the whole thing because I wasn't liking how it was turning out. I had painted Quincey's hair flying high in the sky and the reaction I was getting from the kids were things like, "Woooo" or "Oh my goodness." or just laughing. That wasn't what I was shooting for. =) Daddy convinced me that it was good, I just needed to change her hair. This is how it came and I really love it. It represents how I feel about my beautiful girls. They are both talented and amazing.

Saturday Chores-Daddy cracks the whip

When the kids are working hard, I can't help but feel a little warm fuzzy inside. Here they are doing their Saturday chore of mucking the stalls. I am so proud when they work, don't think they don't complain, because they do. But they also get the work done. Good job guys. It is a valuable thing to learn to do.

Just a fun moment with Quincey

"Hi Mommy"

I loved the look on his face. It says, "Mommy, I got muddy." Sometimes I call Sarger my "little mudman". He loves to play in the dirt and/or mud. With all of the rain this fall, it has been more of the latter. During the summer I tell him to jump in the pool, but now it is the season for rings around the bath tub. I love you baby boy.

MAMA'S LITTLE MAN

Sarger is holding "Diva" the duck. (She is the queen of the duck herd around here.) =D Diva has a big fluff of feathers on her head, thus the name Diva, the girls got BIG TEXAS hair! Ya, she rocks, she's all that............

Ready For Some Fun!

After the birthday party, Quincey got ready to go to her very first church dance. She went with Leila and Savannah. They had a great time. I am totally excited for her because anyone that knows me, knows that I lived for the church dances when I was a whipper snapper. They were good times! She had a wonderful time. I'm happy for you Sweetheart.

Happy Birthday Quincey

We had a big birthday bash for Quincey last week, She turned 14 years old! I love this girl. It was so much fun. I bought a whole bunch of ear rings and the girls played a game kind of like the white elephant game where they open gifts and then can steal from each other. They loved it. We played a few other games and then had cake and ice-cream. After that, we took the girls next door to the Chiffolos house to ride horses. It was a wonderful time for all. Quincey sure can pick wonderful friends. Happy birthday Honey.

It FINALLY Happened!

Piper is thrilled to have lost her first tooth. She waited a long time for this. As her classmates were loosing four and five teeth Piper had a mouth full of babies. She lost it on Saturday of conference weekend. I told Piper that I was going to do a painting while I listened to conference on Sunday and that she could paint too if she wanted to. She said that she wanted to paint a picture of the tooth fairy! I thought it was a cute idea because she would be coming to visit Piper's room that very night! This is the finished painting by Piper Barron appropriately called "The Tooth Fairy."

Some Recent Paintings

These are a few paintings that I just finished. The one of the cows was a picture that I took while visiting my parents at Adam ondi Ahmen a few months ago. The church rents the land out to local farmers and they farm it and graze cattle on it. Then the one of the Piper I did on honor of my own little Piper Dee Barron. I am starting to get interested in painting birds. I am loving it.

BUMP! SET! SPIKE!

This has been such a fun volleyball season for Quincey. We have seen her improve so much this year. We are very proud of her and the dedication that she has put into it. Every time I set eyes on her, I'm glad she's mine. =)

Girls Night Out With Brooke White!

While our husbands went to the Priesthood Session of General Conference, some of my friends and I went to see Brooke White (from American Idol) play live. It was at a hotel restaurant near by. The tickets were free, it was a small crowd and she was WONDERFUL! That girl is so talented! One of my friends knows her Mother, so we were able to talk with her backstage and meet her. Kinda fun! I hope the best for her.

Hooray For BRIGGS!

We lit sparklers for Briggs birthday. Everyone loved it. (We had never done sparklers before, so it was something new!) =D

Happy Birthday Briggs!

Briggs turned 12 years old. WOW! We celebrated his birthday and had a wonderful time. Briggs helped me to make his cake. He was in charge of the sprinkles, if you look close, he had a hay day with that! =) Briggs has meant so much to our family. I am so grateful to him. He is truly one of my hero's. I love you so much Honey. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Soccer For Sarger!!!

It's official! Sarger has started sports. Daddy is coaching the "Cougars" =), a four and five year old soccer team. Sarger is loving it! He has made two goals total in the two games that they have had. He loves to run as fast as he can, he says. I was informed the other day that he can "beat the WHOLE family." Our little four year old is really enjoying it. I am so proud of him and love to watch him. This kid is scrumptious.
