Adam ondi Ahman

After "the meal", the kids had fun running around, Boston played domino's with the missionaries, the girls went for a walk and then Papa took us on a tour of the property and told us all he knows about the area. It was really neat. Papa was just called to be the new director of AOA. He is a good leader and excited to serve in that way.

THANK YOU for Thanksgiving!

Who gets to have BOTH of their Grandparents for Thanksgiving dinner? We did! For Thanksgiving we were able to drive to Adam ondi Ahman to spend it with my parents and the other missionaries there. The meal was AMAZING! Everyone seemed to cook up their specialty and together it was all so delicious. Seeing my parents again was heavenly. They looked GREAT and seem to be so happy serving on their mission. I am so proud of them.

Staying Warm At Silver Dollar City

Silver Dollar City!

Siiiiilver Dollar City!!!!!!!!!!

Look out! It's SILVER DOLLAR CITY!

Ya Hoo! We LOVE Silver Dollar City! It is especially fun at Thanksgiving time. It is a beautiful amusement park, very clean and full of families and clean cut people. They focus on the birth of Christ at this time of year. There are awesome Christmas decorations and lights every where. Just a really good family place. We spent a day there , running from ride to ride. The kids all did great. We didn't even have a stroller for Sarger. I was impressed! We had fun hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa! What a blessing to get to do these things with our family.

The Duttons....LIVE!

We were able to see a couple of marvelous shows when we were in Branson. The first one was "The Duttons". They are a Mormon family who is amazing at performing with a variety of instruments and singing and dancing. It was totally enjoyable. At one point they asked for kids to come up and Piper and Boston volunteered to go up to the stage. They had fun as the Duttons sang to them. It was cute. I was proud of them for not being scared! Then that night we went to a show called "The Hughes Brothers". They ended up being Mormon too. Their show was totally enjoyable also. Everything was good clean fun, my kinda fun! Lots of celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ and the true meaning of Christmas. I LOVED it!

Branson Fish Hatchery with Grandma and Grandpa

We enjoyed beautiful weather as we toured the hatchery and fed the fish. The kids had lots of fun doing this.

Branson Fish Hatchery

Grandma and Grandpa Barron met our family in Branson for a fun vacation. Our first fun stop was the Branson Fish Hatchery. We were able to see some fish, watch a video about the hatchery and throw food to the thousands of starving fish. The kids loved it!

A Nightmare comes TRUE!

When you come out of the cave tour, they have a "spelunking box". Which it like a maze for you to go through where you lay on your belly and squeeze through small spaces until you find your way out. It was like living a nightmare. The spaces were so small. My husband had to be rescued from the box because he got stuck. Quincey was in tears trying to get out of the thing. I was in tears cracking up at the whole scene (sorry Quincey, but it was funny). The rest of the kids thought that it was fun and wanted to do it again. Some did. I was amused, I must say. Then the kids had a go at panning for precious gems. You would be surprised at the awesome gems that Quincey found. Ooooo Aaaaaaaah!

Talking Rocks Cavern, Branson Missouri

After the cave tour, we went for a hike that took us to the big tower that we climbed. We were high above the trees and were able to get a great view of the forrest and hills. The kids had fun running on the trails and at the lookout.
