Our newst favorite color...BLUE!!!!

Blue is "our" new horse! Quincey has been begging for a horse for some time now and we decided that boarding one would be a cool thing! 1. They pay US to have it. 2. We don't have to pay any medical expenses. 3. The kids get to work and earn money for their bank accounts.4. If we do not like the horse we can get rid of it easily. We are so excited to have a horse at our house and have had so much fun getting to know him. He is super sweet and calm. We feel blessed to have him.

My baby girl is 12!

We celebrated Quincey's 12th birthday by having a hotdog/smores roast out in the backyard. It turned out to be a super fun party for one and all! The girls had fun cuddling the kittens and chickens, jumping on the tramp, playing sharades, riding the zip line, and listening to music. I think Quincey had a ball and felt special! It was a success!

BB the big number 88!

Our family had so much fun watching Boston play football this season. Boston did a great job, but MOST importantly, he was always a good sport and I loved that about him. Daddy was his assistant coach and they enjoyed spending extra time together. It was a great season!

What a man!

Often I stop and think of my beautiful husband out there in the world working hard to provide for our family. It's a tough thing to do. I feel like he has so much courage to do the work and face tough challenges every single day. To provide a service to his company that they are willing to pay him for so that he can buy food and shelter for our family. This is AMAZING to me. I will always be greatful and in awe of him. Thanks Love.

Backyard Menace

We caught a snapping turtle in our turtle trap! It was (what I thought) huge! It must have been many years old with the size that it was. Notice that I keep saying the word "WAS". Well, Daddy killed it. He took his gun out and shot it in the head. Why did he do this horrible thing? Because we have been advised by lots of "pond people" that snapping turtles will destroy your pond. We have stocked the pond with 150 cat fish and we do not want them to be eaten by anything (besides us!)So this is the latest drama at the Barron home. To kill or not to kill...that is the question!

Oreanna-Two Time Mama

Well, we're all in agreement. We think Oreanna is pregnant! Do you know what this means?! Another sweet, cute, precious baby goat!!! Also, it means that we will have a beautiful baby goat for the Christmas nativity. That was a big attraction last year that everyone enjoyed. We also have the possibility of twin goats, which would be fine IF they were girls. Girls goats are a little bit sweeter and cuter. Boy goats can be aggressive and they also smell stinky. We are hoping for girls. This is an excitement at our house! We will keep you posted!
