At least Kenny Rogers would have been proud!

Taggart and I went to a Halloween party for adults thrown by some of our friends. Can I make a little confession to you? I don't love dressing up for Halloween. All the makeup and uncomfortable costumes that you have to wear just don't seem worth it to me. Well, I scored these two costumes as king and queen cards and BOOM! Total comfort for the evening. It was a great time and super fun party. (You MIGHT see these cards again sometime.;))(If we're lucky!)

We have a TEENAGER!

Our sweet daughter Quincey has gone and turned 13! ;D I can not believe that she is this age. It is so much fun to see her grow, she is such an amazing person. I truly do learn from her every day. To celebrate this monumentous occasion, we threw her an incredible birthday bash with all of her bestest girlfriends. We had a blast playing in the backyard with games, swings, zip line and the animals. The violin cake didn't turn out too bad if I do say so myself. Quincey is one of my very best friends and I love to be around her. What a cool person!

What's Fall Without Caramel Apples? Lame

The girls and I made caramel apples for the family this week. Every time I make these (once a year), I wonder why I don't more often. It was a deliciously scrumptious TREAT! MMMMMMMMM.
