Until Next Time...........

Thanks for the GREAT FAMILY TIME Camp Grady! We had a ball. It really is these times that we spend together that strengthens our relationships with each other. We are so blessed to have each other and to go through life together. I love my family!

They Couldn't Resist

Before we came, the camp said that there would be no swimming because they couldn't provide a life guard. So I did not pack swim suits. As you can see, the Barron kids could not resist the water. Daddy watched them as they played and had a ball in the water. Made me wish we all had our swim suits. Sarger ditched his shorts and ended up in his tighty whiteies. I guess he's still young enough to pull that off. The kids loved it though!

Devil's Island

Half way into the ride they dropped us off on Devil's Island and we got to hike to the top. It was really fun and the scenery was gorgeous. (In these pictures, we are standing on top of the cliff.)

On Saturday Daddy and I had the great idea for everyone to wear our family shirts. (LOVE them!) It took a little convincing for Quincey but she went along. ( Thanks sweetheart!)

Clouds

I was excited when my camera did a pretty good job of capturing the beauty of the clouds that day. As an artist, I love to look at clouds and imagine how I might paint them. These are beauties! (And it didn't even rain on us once! Lucky!)

Cruisin Possum Kingdom

One of the funnest things for me was the boat tour around Possum Kingdom Lake. It is so pretty! Lots of cliffs and interesting scenery. The clouds were amazing and the weather was nice. Those two cliffs open into a quiet cove. They call the cliffs "Hell's Gate!" (For you Mylie fans out there: the house with the big Texas flag painted on the roof just in between the two cliffs belongs to Mylie Cyrus. Just a bit of trivia!)

Riflery

Shooting the guns was one of Sarger's favorite things. It was his first time to shoot a gun and he loved it. I was surprised when I hit three out of three shots at the bulls eye!!!! Don't mess with me..............=D

Piper's Big Sister

Quincey is a wonderful big sister. She treats Piper special, like a friend. Piper is a lucky little girl. Quincey made her this pretty flower crown. She absolutely loved it and wore it all over the camp. She got lots of attention from her pretty flower crown. Tiny Dee looks sweet in it. =)

Canoeing

The girls took one canoe and the boys the other. These canoes were pretty unstable. I chose to leave my camera and purse on the shore. We watched as other canoes dumped over their passengers into the water fully clothed. We (the girls) came close to plummeting into the water, but were able to recover from the almost plunge! It was fun (that we didn't get all wet!). I do enjoy a canoe ride though.

Daddy schooling everyone on how to skip a rock 35 times. Boston seems to make friends everywhere he goes. This is one of the kids that he played football with a lot.

Free Time

Our free time was filled with playing catch with the football, climbing trees and skipping and collecting rocks. Is there anything more fun then that??!! ( Briggs! Love those juicy RED lips!)

Archery!

One of the activities was archery. The kids all did great, but DADDY took the cake with this amazing shot to the bulls-eye!!!

The Horses Were FUN!

Trail Ride!

The kids all got to take a trail ride. The picture of all the kids with their helmets on is priceless. Our resident teenager did not want to be photoed in that huge helmet, but I was having a good chuckle about it. Love ya girl!
