Mexico Cruise!!! Summer 2013

Hard to describe how much fun we had on this summer vacation with the Matthews and Gramcracker and Popcorn!  It was AWESOMEEEE!!!!
 Cancun!  So beautiful!!!

Eating fancy dinners together every night.  It was a Mom's dream vacation.  No cooking, cleaning, nothing.  LOVED every minute of this time. Forever a favorite memory! Thanks for going with us guys!

Our Briggs

What we thought was the flu did not go away.  Briggs got sicker and sicker and could not keep anything down.  We were horrified when we took him to the doctor and he told us that they would be taking him in an ambulance to Little Rock Children's Hospital three hours away.  His life was in danger and his kidneys were failing.
Briggs spent two weeks in the hospital.  The doctors discovered that he had an obstruction in his bowel and he needed surgery.  We prayed and prayed that he would be ok.  Daddy was right by his side and jumped if he ever needed anything.  It was so sweet to watch. The surgery went excellent!  We were very happy and blessed that Briggs would be ok and coming home with us soon. We love and adore him so much.  He is a very important part of our family.
This picture is the saddest moment.  He hated the tube in his nose and would try to pull it out if he could.  The doctors had to tie him down so that he could not move.  It broke my heart.  Daddy gave him a blessing to have to courage to endure this horrible time. As his Mommy, it hurts to even look at this picture. But seeing it makes me grateful that we made it through and that he is home and healthy.  The Lord has blessed us. I love you Briggs.  You mean the world to me and the entire family. We are so lucky to have you.

Piper's Painting

I adore this painting that Piper did of our house and our family. It makes me happy. I hope that someday it can hang in her home and she can tell her kids about her happy childhood days in Arkansas.

Memorial Day 2013

we took the kids hiking to Devils Den and Yellow Rock.  It was a gorgeous day.  I love Arkansas!

Mother's Day 2013

Me with my favorite people in the world. (minus Daddy).  I love Mother's Day!

Quincey always makes me a corsage.  I LOVE IT!!!! I feel special at church. Hehe..=)

Buffalo River Campout!!!

Had an amazing time taking the kids camping and canning down the Buffalo River. One of my most favorite vacations! I hope we do it again.
Me and Little Dee shared a canoe and had the best time.

Under the waterfall!

Bentonville Half Marathon

Quincey and Boston ran the half marathon and both did amazing!

You guys can do anything!

Making Her Dreams Come True

Quincey's dream was to own a vintage VW Beetle Bug.
So we wanted to help make that dream come true.  Why not.  She has always been a dream of a girl.  Makes good choices and does her very best to follow the Lord throughout her life.  We are proud of her.
Quincey when you think back to when we got you this car, we want you to think about how your parents tried their best to help you, teach you, provide for you and every now and then surprise you with something great.  We had fun doing this!  May your "June" bug be a wonderful memory of your High School years and a memory about how much your Mommy and Daddy adored you.
(Plus the fact that we made you work and pay for half of it so that you would learn a valuable lesson about valuing something that you worked for and not feeling entitled.) You worked your guts out earning money any way you could and paid us the money quickly.  You did it! So proud Baby!

Piper turns 10!

My baby girl turned ten.  Her birthday party was a blast.  Daddy pushed all of the girls up to the clouds on our new giant swing.  They loved it!  Happy Birthday sweet heart.  I love and appreciate you with all my heart. <3 p="">

You will never meet a sweeter, more giving person.

Boston's Christmas Present 2013

This year the only thing Boston asked for for Christmas was a new pair of running shoes and a marathon. We signed him up for the Mississippi Marathon and Daddy agreed to run it with him. I am so impressed with his ability to do hard things and have the courage to try.  The trip was a blast for the whole family.  They both finished and did an amazing job.  SO proud Bos!
