Boston Did It!!!

Well, here are the spoils.  Boston's scout troup had an activity where they made spears to go fishing with. They took them camping and tried their hand at spear fishing.  Boston was the only scout to catch any fish. (Little ego boost.) It was a super fun activity for him. We ate the fish for Sunday dinner!

Gwendolyn Weiler Wins a Barron Award!!!

Red carpet and all, my friend Gwendolyn was awarded a "Barron Award" for being a Grand Champion Amazing Individual!

Valentines Dinner

Our Valentines Dinner this year was so delicious!  Lobster was on sale at the store, so I went for it.  We all had some experience with eating it for our trip to Maine last summer.
Can you tell the kids know what they are doing?

Our Valentines Getaway

Daddy surprised me with a weekend getaway for Valentines Day.  This was our first time leaving our kids by themselves over night.  It went great.  Daddy signed us up for an "Urban Adventure", which is basically like doing an "Amazing Race" in one city.  We got to know Dallas very well and saw all of the sights while solving riddles and answering questions.  Super fun!

It was a super wonderful weekend and one to think back on often. Thanks Love.

Daddy's Superbowl Party

Daddy loves to throw a Super Bowl party for the family.  It's all about junk food and everyone loves it.
At this point I have no idea who even played, but I remember hanging out together and eating and having fun. (I love Sarger in this picture. I VERY rarely buy soda, can you tell me is excited about drinking it?)

Sarger's Valentines Box

My boys always love to make monster valentines boxes.  Totally fun.

Love this boy.

Never Too Old "For Show and Tell"

When the baby goats were born, Quincey wanted me to bring them in to her Orchestra class at school.
The kids loved the baby goaters.

Having Fun Anyway

Boston's basketball season this year was, well let's say kinda painful.  Why?  Because they lost every game.  The good news is that I never saw Boston get very sad about it.  He seemed to have fun anyway. I was super proud of him.  It has been interesting watching my kids get involved in sports.  I used to be so passionate about it when I was young.  Now that my kids play, I have even more reason to get passionate, but have decided to take to relaxed route. Winning or loosing does not matter to me. (That's what I keep telling myself.) =)

Piper's Dancing Dress

I love to see Piper dance.  Grandma made her this dancing dress and it is so fun to take pictures of.
