Just Because
I was honored when my sweet husband came home from the store with flowers, "just because". They really lasted a long time and I enjoyed them so much. (I am one of the lucky ones.)

BOSTON'S BIG DAY
My son Boston was finally baptised. This was a very special day for him and our entire family. Boston means so much to all of us. He has such a sweet and tender heart. He is very wise for his young age. He cares for Briggs perfectly and loves to play with his baby brother Sarger. Boston is very intelligent and an excellent athlete. As cheesy as it sounds, I get choked up watching him play sports. He's so good and such a good sport. I'm just so proud of him. He is everything that I could ever hope for in a son.

EGGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sarger has a deep love for eggs. May sound cheesy, but it's true. There is no other way to say it. He loves to get on his boots first thing in the morning and head out to the barn to search for eggs. Then he will spend a hour or so out there before he comes back to the house with a prized egg. He shows everyone with pride and then puts it into the fridge. He is truly a little farm boy at heart.

The Crib Has Retired
I bought this crib at Wymount Terrace at a garage sale. It has had "who knows how many" children sleep in it. I DO know at least 6- our 5 and we bought it used. I refinished it and made it pretty for Quincey and it has survived through all of the Barron's. It was a great purchase. With it still being sturdy and it looks good (amazing huh!), I found a buyer on Craig's List that is going to buy it tomorrow. I am excited to say goodbye to our baby crib. Don't think I'm excited that the kids are growing up, I'm just looking at the positive side of life and enjoying all of the good things. Life is exciting and more possibilities open up with our children getting older. I love our family and each child. It's so fun!
Sarger can take care of himself now!! (in his mind)
Sarger has found a new freedom that he has never known before. He can not be contained in his bed or in the house. He is able to break out of just about every situation. Which means that my job is much, much harder. I keep a close eye on this little boy. In this picture, I caught him heading out to the barn in his diaper and boots. Remember, it is February and very cold outside. Sarger loves to be outside more then anything and will spend hours in the barn searching for eggs or chasing the chickens. I love this boy so much. He brings me so much joy every day. What a blessed Mommy I am!
