The Party at FMHS

Games On The Fourth

Neighborhood Parade

We Love America!

The 4th of July is just a great holiday. We had a wonderful day. It started off with a pancake breakfast with our ward at the park. After that we rushed home and began decorating bikes and animals for the neighborhood parade. It is a tradition to have a parade followed by a BBQ with games for the kids like egg toss, tug of war, swimming and three legged races with all of the neighbors. It is a great tradition. After the party we went home for a little down time. The kids and Daddy went swimming while I took a nap. That night we packed up a picnic and headed for Flower Mound High School for the fire works. We brought blankets, chairs, bean bags, footballs and Frisbees. They had bounce houses and blow up slides for the kids. We played football and ate our food. The fire works exploded right above our heads. It was so much fun. I feel so blessed to live in this amazing country. We are so very blessed. God Bless America!

Love is in the air

Friday night we got ready for our date and asked Quincey to take some pictures of us before we left. Yes, our pictures are cheesy and mushy, hope you can all handle it. Colonel was feelin' the love and decided join us in our pictures. He is so funny. He always wants to be the center of attention.

Hut Time!

What good is being a kid without making a hut every now and then. The days that my kids decide to build a hut, are fun filled days and they are entertained the whole day. Boston, Piper and Sarger decided to sleep in this hut that night. Watching my kids play is such a joy to me.

I did it myself!

Our wood floors are very old and they needed a face lift, so I decided to do it myself. HELLO! That was easy and cheap! I am glad I didn't pay someone $1000 to do something that took me two hours and $14. YES! $14. I am happy with it.

Back Door Facelift

Living in an old house means that you get to do REPAIRS! Our windows and doors in the living room were falling apart before our eyes, so we got them replaced last week. They look great and it feels good to have them done. I think this is leading on to more projects........

Father's Day!

Father's Day was really fun. We sent off cards to Grandpa's and called them to let them know how much we appreciated them. At our house we served Daddy breakfast in bed, gave him gifts and made him a special meal for after church. It is always a fun holiday and fun to spoil Daddy!

A Little Boating Action

Quincey is learning to water ski and wake board. She is doing great! Fun times!
