The lighting was so neat at the lake, I snapped these pictures of Quincey. She is so pretty. (Yes, I photoshopped the logo off of her shirt for fun in one of the pictures.)
We took the family along with Quincey's friend Jamie to the lake for a picnic dinner last Friday night. It was a beautiful day. We ate pizza and cookies and hiked and played catch. Sarger lost his soccer ball and the wind blew across the lake, but other then that, it was a great time.
Boston was honored to be chosen to play Davy Crockett in this classrooms production of "Remembering The Alamo". He did a super job and even got the accent down pat. He loved the rifle that I made him and my attempt at a coon skin hat! =) I was so proud of him.
Sarger has had a real interest in earning money lately. He wants to do dishes, sweep the screened in room and the porch. Clean up toys and his room, etc. This kid is filling up his penny bank and I am LOVIN it!
I have been wanting new night stands for a while now. I can't just go to the store and buy some boring night stands, oh no! I must find something used to fix up. I love it! I found this old "thing" at the CCA for $18.50. I'm not really sure what it was, but I figured out that I could take it apart and make two night stands out of it. I liked them because they each have 4 drawers and are a nice size. I primed them and painted them black and then distressed them and bought some new cute knobs and spray painted the handles. It was a really fun project and I LOVE my new night stands. Yee hoooo! (Plus, I listened to "My Turn On Earth" the entire time I did it and had a BALL!)
I feel so blessed to be from this family. I was always taught what was right and was shown many good examples. I feel like my parents along with my brother and sisters helped to make me who I am today. I feel so lucky and blessed to have them as my family.
The food was amazing. Every night was had great food that the kids loved. Nelly got pizza doe made at the store and then we added the sauce, cheese and toppings. It was so good. G and G, the Matthew's and the Jensen's all made home made ice cream for us too.
Bethany and Rob have a GREAT backyard. We played volleyball, basketball, jumped on the tramp, played on the swing set, played on their way cool inflatable slide, went swimming, camped, sat around the fire and played with all their cool toys. It was the perfect place for a family party. Thanks a bunch for hosting us!
Bethany organized a campout for the kids in her backyard one night. Daddy and Uncle Rob stayed outside with the kids, but I wanted to help make sure everything was OK in the house. =)
We were lucky to have Grandmother with us for the evening that we presented our stories about ancestors. I loved that evening. It was neat to hear about the lives of our "GREAT" Grandparents. I made a movie with pictures of Grandfather Sarager and a movie about our family growing up and through the years until now. It was just a wonderful night. Nelly planned the reunion and did a fabulous job. She arranged where our family would stay each night and Miranda and Jim allowed us to borrow their mini van the whole time we were there. It was so sweet of them to do that for us. We got a chance to stay with different families and had fun having a little time to focus on each of them. It was perfect.
This is a journal of the Barron family. That our children will remember all the good times together.
I sure love Boston
Boston is such a wonderful boy. I admire him for many reasons, but the one that stands out for me is how he has such a tender heart for his brother Briggs. Boston has always showed total kindness to Briggs and has always treated him as a friend. Boston is one of my heros.
Fishin With Daddy
Your Daddy is special. One of the many things that make him special is the way that he spends time with our children. He is always easy to persuade go on a walk, "push me on the swing", jump on the trampoline, play basketball, go see the chicks in the barn, or any other request from his kids. Love, I admire that about you and feel so blessed to have you as the Father of my children.
Colonel
Colonel our donkey is just such a snugly little guy! =)
2005 in Yellowstone Park
My favorite times in my life have been taking trips with my husband and kids. It is a time for the children to play with eachother and for all of us the have fun together. It is magic.(Pregnant with Sarger.)
10th Anniversary Trip
I love to spend time with Tag alone. We have so much fun together. This trip to Hawaii was a blast, something that we will never forget!
My China Dolls
I made Quincey and Piper these white night gowns for Christmas. We had fun getting their pictures together in them.
The gold at the end of the rainbow-ooh baby! For some reason I have been blessed with an amazing husband. He is so kind to me and is always there to support my ideas and desires. He has been my councelor, my example, my very best friend and my love. I thank the Lord every day for him. I love you Love.
We did the impossible.
The year I turned 30 I wanted to do something that I never would have thought that I could do. Me, along with two of my sisters, completed a marathon. We found one that took place on a Saturday. We trained for about a year and when the big day arrived, we were so nervous. We did the entire race together. We walked a lot, but we finished a full marathon!
George Washington
Piper and Quincey sport their "George Washington " dews. What's summer with out those?
Coming Home
As a little boy Briggs had a love for baseball. It is a sweet memory about him and hope to see it again some day.
Frog Legs
Boston has always loved bugs and, well, any creature. I love how he enjoys learning and exploring the world around him. It's so cute.
Sweet Piper
I can hardly think of words that can describe my beautiful Piper. How lucky I am with my TWO girls. Piper is naturally very good. She takes care of people and is very sensitive to their needs. She is so sweet, when she is sad and crying, she has figured out the hugging makes her stop crying. With a hug, she stops instantly. I love Piper and consider her a best friend. I love you baby.
Boyish Instinct
Boys are born with the desire to throw rocks into the water. While fossil hunting, Sarger threw rocks into the water for an hour and he had a blast doing it. Piper on the other hand didn't throw one rock. Hmmmm?
Straight From Heaven
Sarger has me wrapped around his little finger. He has been such a joy in our family. I feel great to hear him call out, "MaaMaa!" and come bookin it down the hallway in search of me.
