We toured an old woolen mill and plantation in Kansas City with Grammy and Papa. It was a wonderful tour. The woolen mill had been purchased at auction in 1960 for $600. When the buyer opened the doors, he was surprised to find it fully in tact. The machinery along with the store items were in there place. As if they just shut the doors. A treasure was found and the state of Missouri now owns it and give great tours of the mill and the entire plantation. I found it so fascinating. I just loved it.
