Our Hero

Our mini van is old. We have gotten two new transmissions put in it and made multiple repairs on it. The world's philosophy is to just get a new one if anything goes wrong. We just keep plugging along with what we've got. Even though it means that it might brake down or not drive as smoothly, it's worth it. We have never had a car payment in our lives and hope to keep it that way. (Even though we are VERY tempted at times to get something really nice with a warranty.) Someday maybe we will be able to just buy something nicer, but for now this van is great and we will use it until it is used up. As for our hero, he amazes me with how he makes repairs on the van without ever doing it before. He is brave to try new things and I like that about him. It seems like men that can make repairs are becoming a thing of the past.

"Hero's" note: Here I am replacing the brake rotors, pads, and calipers and bleeding the line.
