The kids has always been so WIMPY when it comes to singing at family night. I started a new program six months ago that has changed all that! I offer the kids 3 skittles, yes just 3, to sing a solo in front of the family. They are all over that! Everyone sings a solo at family night every Monday night and they all line up to do it. It has been wonderful for helping the kids learn to be comfortable singing. I don't expect them to be on Broadway, but just enjoying singing would be a nice benefit.
