Yes, we're cheesy. But being cheesy has been one of the very fun parts of our relationship. We love it! I don't think we'll stop.

Mother-Son Adventure!
Yesterday Boston and I got to go on a GREAT adventure together! We both had a marvelous time. We went hunting for fossils with the Dallas Palientologists Society (no idea if that's spelled right). The two of us went with our fun neighbors, the Chiffolos. We drove out to Justin, Texas (where they make Justin boots)about a half hour away. That is where everyone met. A group of about thirty cars then caravaned to the site. The site was a huge creek bed. The water was no deeper then about one foot. We got to searching! I'm tellin you, we found some SWEET fossils! It was HEAVEN for me. We were allowed to take home all that we wanted. I added one to my "nature's art" collection on the mantel (the best one) and then put the rest on Quincey's rose garden for display. Boston and I had such a great time together. I love that boy! That was a day to remember!

Triple Wide!
Grandmother and Grandfather
I want take a moment to pay tribute to my Grandmother and Grandfather Sarager. They are amazing people. First off, my son Sarger is named after and in honor of John Sarager. He is a hero in my eyes. He was a kind and generous person. I feel so lucky to have known him. He always served other people and seemed to live life happily. People loved being around him. He made others feel good. I miss him and seeing him again gives me motivation to keep on trying. As for my sweet Grams, she is a person that I have always admired also. I love being with her. She has a fun personality and has a classiness about her that I think is neat. Everyone enjoys her. She has taken on a lot of responsibility since Grandfather has gone, but I feel she will be rewarded because she has done a great job. I love you Grams and keep it up. Love, Paige

Stop and Smell the Roses!
This summer Taggart and I thought that Quincey would enjoy taking care of a rose garden. We thought about a good spot in the yard (right by the front door) and when we found the roses on sale at Home Depot, we went for it! We bought Quincey 12 rose bushes. All of them are different colors and varieties. Quincey was crazy about the idea and did a wonderful job of planting them and clipping all of the dead leaves and stems off. She looks at the bushes every day and counts the current number of buds about to bloom. Twice we thought one of the plants was dead, but they both came through and developed new growth! Quincey has added wind chimes and stepping stones to her garden and often will kiss each bloom to help them to grow beautiful roses. We have had so much fun with this project. It is a GREAT success!

A Girl-One With The Animals
Quincey has an amazing talent with animals. From the time she was small she was connecting with animals. She shocked me when she was three or four (I can't remember which) and she would catch wild birds in our backyard in Arizona. She would take a blanket outside and walk around following the birds. When she was close enough she would throw the blanket over the bird and then grab the bird and hold it until she was ready to release it again. I also remember a time when we lived in Utah and I opened the basement door to hear tiny little squeeking sounds at my feet. Well, I jumped and screamed in fright and ran for the other side of the room. Quincey jumped up and ran straight FOR the squeeking sounds. She quickly picked up the tiny mouse and to my horror explained to me that, "Mommy, it's just a baby!" She has had what seems like hundreds of pets which include, birds, fish, gerbils, bunnies, goats, a dog, chickens, ducks (wild and from the pet store), wild turtles, frogs and tad poles. A few pets that are on her wish list are donkeys, ponies, horses, pigs and peacocks. I have been impressed by how she takes total resposibilty for her pets and I don't have to tell her to take care of them. Every night she goes out into the dark to care for her chickens and goats and in the morning before school, when it is cold and dark she goes out again. It is things like this that tell me, one day she will be a marvelous Mother.

The boy with the GREAT BIG smile.
NewPort Adventure 2007
Summer of 2007 included a wonderful week at New Port Beach, CA with all of the grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins from the Barron side of the family. The kids played all day the the beach, swam in the waves and caught crabs at the rocks. Even with a few sunburns, we enjoyed a wonderful week and look forward to doing it again. We love being with our family.
