Yesterday I witnessed quite a sweet/dramatic scene. Piper had gotten a new bottle of bubbles from preschool and she was in the backyard with Sarger blowing bubbles. They discovered that Annabelle, our cat, was afraid of the bubbles and they laughed at that. Later in the day we were in my room and I looked out and saw that Annabelle was chasing a tiny baby bunny. It was trying to kill it. Piper quickly jumped up and ran outside with a determined look on her face. I watched her as she ran after Annabelle blowing bubbles to try and save the bunny. She, Sarger and I did our best, but in the end Annabelle won and killed the bunny. Piper and Sarger just sobbed when they could not save the bunny. It was so sweet to see how much they cared.
