There are a lot of alligators in the south. In fact, there was a smashed one on the freeway! The kids were shocked by that. We took a trip to an alligator farm and got to hold baby gators and see the big ones swimming in the swamp. It was cool. We did the walking tour because the swamp boat tour was a little pricey.
