The sand was white, soft and had a very fine consistency. The waves were surprisingly big. I thought it would be very calm. It was pretty much dangerous to go out into the deep water, so we stayed on the shore, played in the sand and took lots of walks. It would be fun to go at a different time of year and be able to boogie board and body surf. The waves were great. (For those who like em' big.) The weather was not the greatest for the beach, chilly and we got one day of rain. I am glad that we had the pool and hot tub because those were warm. It was so pretty though and something new.
